Embrace the pain

I felt for sure, I was going to use that sort of manipulated photo, as a background for something; it was a really fun challenge and a bit of practice, even if it also helped me realize that this isn't really the way forward for me, undertaking my projects.

Getting the plane to somewhat match the background, was the largest problem and I had to constantly go back and forth between various color filters and editing pre- and post- adding noise, highlights and shading. It was fun, but I am not satisfied enough with the end result, that I'd want to keep painting things this way.
