Mostly it all boils down to this new site being a complete opposite of what made me come to share my stuff here to begin with. I don't mind the new features if they worked but I've mentioned in the past how Eclipse just doesn't load properly for me and while I can just patiently sit back and let the icons and messages pop into existence after a few seconds - as an art-addict who loves to just gorge myself on thousands of pretty pictures in a day (seriously, look at my fav-count, that's indicative of how many things I look at in a day if I basically add maybe 1/3 of what I see to my favorites) and now those seconds start to add up.

Fine so, coming here to look at art isn't really viable any more its too time-consuming I can still at least browse through my inbox and just drag and drop a few choice pictures here and there into my folders like cool, hot, awesome.. etc... right.. oh nope, this feature no longer works either and there is no ETA as far as I know, if this will ever be addressed.
The new message-center is a mess to me as well and the chat plug-in causes things to freeze up and the site to fail on me; lovely.

So what does all this mean?



The bottom line and tl:dr I suppose is that, DeviantArt is no longer the site I came to know and love and honestly, its too much hassle and time having to be spent on getting to grips with things. I'm taking a step back.

I'll still maintain my site here; I'll still post new artwork but, that's pretty much it. Cued updates are gonna go up but I am not gonna be here much at all anymore.

If you message me, odds are that I won't see it and won't reply for some time but I will check in from time to time, especially to keep up to date with site-changes in case things change for the better and I see a reason to come back.

Alright; stay groovy all you people out there, I'll catch you on the flipside.

Also; I'm looking into moving to other art-sites maybe, we'll see but I'll keep everyone apprised.
